From Pumpkin to Jack-O’Lantern

To carve a Jack-O’Lantern you will need the following materials:
  • 1 Pumpkin
  • 1 Medium Serving Spoon
  • 1 Medium Knife
  • 1 Small Knife
  • Newspaper
  • Medium bowl
  • 1 Dry Erase Marker
  • 1 Candle
  • 1 lighter
step 1 1. Choose a large pumpkin and use a sharp serrated knife to cut off the crown.
step 2 2. Scoop out the seeds, fibers, and some of the pulpy pumpkin flesh, with your serving spoon.
step 3 3. With a marker, draw a simple outline of a face on the pumpkin. Use a small, serrated knife to cut out the eyes, nose and mouth.
step 4 4. Pop a tea light inside the pumpkin, light it and replace the crown.
