    Fibre Choice® Bone Health with Calcium and Vitamin D Ingredients

    MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS 

    Inulin (Cichorium intybus L. – root (Chicory)) | 2 g 

    Calcium (Calcium carbonate) | 250 mg; 

    Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol) | 2.5 mcg 

     

    NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS 

    Sorbitol, citric acid, magnesium stearate, cherry flavour, strawberry flavour, wildberry flavour,FD&C red no. 40 aluminum lake, FD&C blue no. 2 aluminum lake 
    Instructions

    Adults: Chew 2 tablets up to 2 times per day. Start with 2 tablets and gradually increase up to 4 tablets. To minimize potential stomach discomfort, take with meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. 
     
    CAUTION Hypersensitivity has been known to occur. May cause mild gastro-intestinal discomfort such as gas, bloating, cramps. Consult a healthcare practitioner if

    ■ symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within seven days

    ■ you are taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement

    ■ you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever

    ■ you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or have failed to defecate following the use of a laxative product.

     

    For adults over 50 years old taking 4 tablets per day, Kidney stone formation has been known to occur with this daily quantity of calcium. Consult a healthcare practitioner to determine appropriate supplementation levels.
