AERO Thumbprint Cookies

What you need

2 (42 g each) AERO Milk Chocolate Bubble Bars
1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup raspberry jam
1 tube cookie frosting

How to prepare

Instructions

In a medium bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and almond extract until smooth. Slowly add flour and mix until a dough forms.

Roll dough into 1 ½ inch balls and pop onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Use your thumbs to press a small hole into the centre of each ball, and fill with jam. Bake cookies at 350oF for about 15 minutes.

Let your freshly baked cookies cool completely before topping the jam centres with crumbled AERO chocolate. Drizzle the tops with white cookie frosting, and share with someone you love!
