Apple MACK Toffee French Toast Bake

What you need


12 MACKINTOSH Creamy Toffee pieces, unwrapped
8 cups day old crusty bread, cubed
2 apples, peeled and chopped
6 eggs
3/4 cup half & half 10% cream
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter, melted

How to prepare


Toss the bread with the apples; spread in a greased 9x13-inch (3 L) casserole dish. Whisk the eggs with the cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Slowly pour over the bread mixture. Cover and chill overnight. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Brush the top with melted butter and scatter toffee pieces over the casserole. Bake for 1 hour or until golden and set. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
