Apple Oatmeal Muffins with Toffee Streusel

What you need


1 bar (45 g) MACKINTOSH Creamy Toffee Bar, smacked
1 batch prepared oatmeal muffin mix
1 apple, peeled and finely chopped
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup large flake oats
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp butter, melted

How to prepare


Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a 12-cup muffin pan large with paper liners. Gently fold apple and cinnamon into the muffin batter. Divide evenly between the muffin cups. Combine flour, oats, sugar and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over each muffin. Place a few pieces of toffee on each muffin. Bake according to package directions or until a tester comes out clean when inserted into the centre of a muffin. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
