KIT KAT Chunky Sweet ‘n’ Salty Cookies

What you need


3 bars (50 g each) KIT KAT Chunky, finely chopped
2 1/4 cup (560 mL) flour
1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
3/4 cup (175 mL) unsalted butter
1 cup (250 mL) packed brown sugar
1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla
1/2 cup (125 mL) raisins
1/2 cup (125 mL) broken salted pretzels
1/2 cup (125 mL) salted roasted peanuts

How to prepare


Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside. Whisk flour, baking soda and salt until combined; set aside. 

Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar with electric beater until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Beat in vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until just combined. Stir in chopped KIT KAT, raisins, pretzels and peanuts. Chill dough for 30 minutes or until firm. 

Drop dough by heaping tbsp, 2-inches (5 cm) apart on prepared pans. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden and set. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer to cookie rack and cool completely.
