Who can resist these delectable clusters of nuts under a jewel-like toffee glaze?

What you need


1.5 bags (246 g each) MACKINTOSH Toffee Pieces, unwrapped
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp butter
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup hazelnuts, chopped
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds or pine nuts

How to prepare


1. Place toffee pieces in a 4 cup (1 L) microwaveable glass measure or bowl. Add evaporated milk and butter; microwave on high for 3 minutes or until bubbling vigorously. Stir until smooth. Stir in pecans, hazelnuts and almonds.
2. Spoon evenly into tart shells. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until filling is set.

For extra convenience, use ready-made frozen tart shells.
