Mayan Chocolate Smoothie

Start the day with a cool and creamy chocolate smoothie with protein and fibre, plus a little kick from cayenne pepper.

What you need

1 small frozen banana
1/2 cup (125 ml) frozen raspberries
1 tsp (5 ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup (175 ml) unsweetened vanilla flavour almond milk
2 tsp (10 ml) almond butter
1/4 tsp (1 ml) ground cinnamon
Pinch cayenne pepper
1 tsp (5 ml) dried goji berries (optional)
1 tsp (5 ml) toasted pepitas (optional)

How to prepare

Instructions

Place BOOST Powder® Chocolate, banana, raspberries, cocoa, almond milk, almond butter, cinnamon and cayenne in blender. Purée until smooth.

Pour into tall glass. Sprinkle with goji berries and pepitas, if using. Serve immediately. 

Tips

Almond Milk

Use chocolate flavour almond milk for a more chocolatey flavour and a little added sweetness.
