NESTLÉ GERBER Oatmeal Banana Bread Cookies

A delicious treat for your toddler who is comfortable eating “finger foods”, and is used to a wide variety of foods and textures. This recipe contains no added sugar or salt. Note: not appropriate for babies less than 12 months of age

What you need

1 cup NESTLÉ GERBER Oat Baby Cereal
2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
¼ cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup ripe banana, mashed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

How to prepare


Preheat oven to 375oF (190oC); lightly grease a large baking sheet or line with parchment paper; set aside.

Measure dry ingredients into a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine banana and melted butter.

Gently mix liquid ingredients into dry ingredients until blended; set aside for 2-3 minutes to thicken.

Drop batter by heaping spoonful’s about 2 inches (5 cm) apart on prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
