ROLO® Peanut Butter Baked Doughnuts

Rich and dark chocolate donuts are baked then topped with a sweet peanut butter glaze and delectable ROLO® Peanut Butter.

What you need

2 pk (68g each) ROLO Peanut Butter
3/4 cup (175 ml) all-purpose flour
1/3 cup (75 ml) cocoa powder
1/2 tsp (2 ml) baking soda
1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
2/3 cup (150 ml) buttermilk
1/4 cup (60 ml) butter, melted
1/4 cup (60 ml) brown sugar
3 tbsp (45 ml) sugar
1 egg
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
1/2 cup (125 ml) icing sugar
2 tbsp (30 ml) smooth peanut butter
2 tbsp (30 ml) milk

How to prepare



Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Spray 12-cavity donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. In separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, butter, brown sugar, sugar, egg and vanilla.

Stir liquid mixture into flour mixture just until combined. Spoon into prepared donut pan.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool in pan for 5 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely. 


Whisk together icing sugar, peanut butter and milk until smooth. Glaze should be pourable but thick.

Dip top of each donut into glaze. Invert onto serving platter and allow glaze to dip down the sides. Cut ROLO® Peanut Butter pieces in quarters and scatter over donuts. Allow glaze to set before serving.




Donuts can be packaged in an airtight container and left at room temperature for up to 3 days.
