How to prepare
InstructionsSprinkle gelatin over water in a medium saucepan; let stand for one minute. Stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved; stir in sugar or sweetener. Stir in evaporated milk. Continue stirring over medium heat until milk is steaming hot (do not boil). Pour into blender container; add morsels and vanilla extract. Cover and blend on low speed until smooth. Pour into a small mixer bowl. Refrigerate, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds from a spoon. Beat on high speed for one to two minutes or until thick and light in colour. Spoon into serving dishes (filling them halfway). Then, add chopped TURTLES as a second layer. Top up the dishes with mousse, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Then top with whipped cream.
Make it spooky!
For a festive chocolate spiderweb decoration, melt 1 bar of semisweet chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Using a piping bag with a small spout, pipe cobweb shape onto wax paper on a tray, and refrigerate to harden.
Garnish with fresh fruit
