How to prepare
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Lightly grease an 8 x 8 inch pan.
2. Melt unsweetened chocolate with butter on medium-low heat and put to the side to cool. Meanwhile sift flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
3. In a large bowl, beat sugar and eggs until light. Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until combined.
4. Spread half of batter in a prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes. Remove AERO bars from wrappers and place on top of baked brownie, top with remaining batter and walnuts if desired. Bake for approximately 25 more minutes or until you can put a toothpick in the top half of the brownie and it comes out clean. Cool for at least 15 min and cut into pieces.
