SCARIES Cookie Monsters

These delicious monsters have more mmm than bite!

Prep time: 20 mins.
Cook time: 0 mins.
Total time: 30 mins.
Servings: 12 cookie monsters
Skill level: Easy

    Ingredients

    3 boxes (45 g x 3) SCARIES minis
    24 pre-made chocolate chip cookies
    1 can vanilla frosting
    6 jumbo marshmallows

    Instructions

    1

Divide frosting into 3 portions, and colour 2 portions with orange and black food colouring.

    2

Line 12 cookies up on a flat tray, and add a dollop of frosting to each one. Do not dollop too much frosting or things can get messy really quickly! Place the cookies in the fridge for 5-10 minutes to allow frosting to set.

    3

Take cookies out and place another small dollop of frosting on top of existing frosting. Top with remaining 12 cookies, creating a 'V' shape. This little extra bit of frosting makes the second cookie stick and will create the "mouth". Stick SMARTIES "teeth" into hardened frosting, as desired.

    4

The "eyes" are made by cutting marshmallow in quarters, then placing the SMARTIES "eyes" onto the sticky side of the cut of marshmallow. Having trouble keeping your marshmallow sticky? Use a teensy bit of frosting to secure onto cookie. Ta-da! You've made SMARTIES cookie monsters!

    Tips

    Let it set

For best results, make sure you let frosting harden a bit before adding SCARIES

    Try it with ice cream!

Replace vanilla frosting with ice cream for a tasty twist.
