2026 KITKAT® x Friends of Ruby Pride Break Zone

After five years of meaningful partnership, this year brings something fresh: a vibrant Break Zone at Friends of Ruby’s new location.

This dynamic space will not only help raise awareness of Friends of Ruby’s new location but also give Pride attendees a place to stop and relax.

Partnership History:

Since February 2022, KITKAT® has partnered with Friends of Ruby, a Toronto-based organization supporting the well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth through mental health, social services, and housing.

The collaboration began with limited‑edition  KITKAT® bars featuring packaging designed by Friends of Ruby, sold exclusively at the KITKAT® Chocolatory in Yorkdale Mall, with 100% of proceeds donated to the organization. Additional limited‑edition KITKAT® bars were released in December 2022, continuing the commitment to direct financial support.

In June 2023,  KITKAT® expanded distribution of its Pride bars through SKIP Express Lane in major Canadian cities, again donating all proceeds to Friends of Ruby.  KITKAT® also served as an official sponsor of Pride Toronto in 2023, hosting a booth at the Street Fair and marching alongside Friends of Ruby in celebration of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
