“Red tape on our packaging informs our staff when the roll needs to be changed.”

We understand that it may be surprising to find a piece of tape. Our top priority continues to be the quality and safety of our products, and while we have several processes in place to help prevent something like this from happening, we'd like to provide an explanation as to how this may have occurred.

The packaging used in wrapping our chocolate treats starts out as a big roll. This roll has tape at the beginning and end to let staff know when the roll needs to be changed. While the tape at the end is usually removed, it appears as though this may not have happened to the package you received. While this is not how we intended, the chocolate is still safe to consume.

Although the chances of this is rare, when it happens, we want to know about it. To help us out, we appreciate if you can share the product information which we’ll pass on to our Quality Assurance team for awareness and continuous improvements.

Please provide as many details as possible:

  • UPC (Bar Code)
  • Manufacturing code (series of numbers)
  • Best Before date
  • Store name and location of purchase
  • Photo

We will be happy to hear from you!
