AERO® Minis and Snack Size Mini bars are now produced on the same line as a wheat-containing product. We kindly encourage consumers with dietary needs or restrictions to review the ingredients in-store before making a purchase or consuming the product. If the product contains any sources of gluten, it will be listed.
What does “May Contain Wheat” mean?
Wheat is a priority allergen in Canada and must be declared on the ingredient list when added to pre-packaged products.

Priority allergens and sensitivities must be declared on the ingredient list when they are added to pre-packaged products or on precautionary allergen statements if there is a potential for cross-contamination. The “May Contain” statement on a label is meant to warn consumers of the possibility of cross-contamination.
Always be sure to check the label. If the product contains a source of gluten, it will be declared in the ingredient list or if there is a risk of cross-contamination, in the “May Contain” statement that follows the list of ingredients

Do all AERO® products now include the “May Contain Wheat” statement?
Not all AERO® products have a “May Contain Wheat” statement; only the AERO® Minis and Snack Size Mini bars made on the same line as wheat-containing products will include the “May Contain Wheat” statement.

We always recommend checking the packaging label for the most up-to-date information, as different products from the same brand may have varying "May Contain" statements due to production at different facilities.
Why does the wrapper of the AERO® Snack Size Mini bars inside the packaging not include the "May contain Wheat" statement, while the outer packaging does?
Only the AERO® 9ct Snack Size and NESTLÉ Assorted 9ct Snack Size products (UPC 059800749565 and UPC 059800750974, respectively) are affected by the packaging discrepancy. We recommend following the information on the individual wrapper as we have taken proactive measures to declare allergens on outer packaging in advance of our production change. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us, and we appreciate your understanding during this transitional period.
Why do some AERO® Minis and Snack Size Mini bars now include a “May Contain Wheat” statement?
The reason behind this is due to a change in our production lines. AERO® Minis and Snack Size Mini bars will now be produced on the same assembly line where wheat-containing products are produced. We always recommend checking the packaging label for the most up-to-date information.
