We put tremendous effort into ensuring our products are made using quality ingredients sourced in a responsible way. Through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan, we distribute higher-yielding, disease-resistant cocoa plants, train farmers in better agricultural practices, support women farmers and improve access to education for children.

Caffeine in CARNATION Hot Chocolate
Since caffeine is naturally present in cocoa, there is a very small amount of caffeine in our CARNATION Hot Chocolate.

Amount of caffeine per serving of CARNATION Hot Chocolates:

• CARNATION Rich and Creamy – less than 2mg per 25g serving
• CARNATION Light Hot Chocolate – less than 2mg per 13g serving
• CARNATION Simply Hot Chocolate – approximately 2mg per 25g serving
• CARNATION Marshmallow Hot Chocolate – less than 2 mg of caffeine per 25g serving
• Nestlé CARNATION Turtles Hot Chocolate – less than 2 mg of caffeine per 25g serving
• CARNATION Variety Pack Hot Chocolate Carton – 3 flavours, each less than 2 mg of caffeine per 25g serving

Hot chocolate refers to melted chocolate, while hot cocoa, on the other hand, is made from cocoa powder, which is derived from cacao beans.

Since hot chocolate uses melted chocolate, it has a rich, creamy, and indulgent flavour profile.
 

Q. Is there lactose in CARNATION Hot Chocolate?
Yes, there is lactose in CARNATION Hot Chocolate. Lactose is a natural sugar found in milk and dairy products, and since CARNATION Hot Chocolate contains milk derivatives, it contains lactose.
